Masters Apprentices - Easy To Lie

This song taken from their criminally overlooked album “Choice Cuts”. The song - recorded 1970 in studio B at Abbey Road - was featured in this skull crusher of a video.

The Aussie band’s lead singer, Jim Keays, stands shirtless in front of a poster of Huey Newton (one of my heroes) along with some anti-war graphics, and lip syncs while air guitaring. There are video’s of the entire album done in this fashion. It’s not certain if this was done because of financial restraints or for purely artistic reasons, but either way - it is simply amazing.

If you can hunt down ‘Choice Cuts’ you’d be doing yourself a good service.
