in reference to who the “losers” are to the live nation / ticket master merger:
»
Independent promoters: While indie promoters have survived the promoter consolidation that created Live Nation by being nimble, niche-oriented and often better promoters, they’re now up against an even more formidable opponent. Those who have spoken out publicly against the merger have to...

well said, coco.
All I ask of you is one thing: please don’t be cynical. I hate cynicism — it’s my least favorite quality and it doesn’t lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen. Amazing things will happen.

One or OUR SONGS was used for the uber-tween mega trendy hotness “Vampire Diaries”.
As of today, the youtube video of that song (shown with static episode number) has been viewed 13,141 times. I don’t know whether to laugh, or cut all my fingers off so that I’ll never write another song again. However,….

The Pickup
1975 Directed By: Bernard Hirschenson
Pickup. Oh man. This might make it to my top 5. A desert island film. ‘On The Road’ meets bizarre hippie film noir. This independent trip has accrued some fans online & I’ve even found a myspace page dedicated to this movie (!!). LINK HERE. (*extra points for the Big Elf used on the page!*).
The title is completely misleading. Pushed as...

So after much deliberation, we’ve chosen to give our Dec. 4th guest list spots to the following:
1&2. Hunter Sunrise +1 (This was the saddest story we’ve ever read. Ever. We hope things get better for you my friend. We’ve even added a plus one for you to bring a friend. Even if this story was completely made up - as there’s no way to know for sure - you get an A+ for...

it’s our festive year end ramble-on with a bunch of cello’s just sawing away back there. Mind you, it’s not our show, we just get to play a handful of tunes - however, if you wanna come and don’t have the scratch: maybe it was a tight year? maybe you spent that last bitta coin on a tasty feast for the...
That is a bummer.
The Holy Mountain
1973 Directed By Alejandro Jodorowsky This movie is perhaps the most insane cinematic adventure I’ve ever witnessed. Ever. Period. It makes “The Wall” look like Mary Poppins. The back story to it is that the Chilean director, Jordorowsky, shot this film in Mexico with a cast of intentionally secluded, communal, shroomed out hippies. They apparently “lived” the script...
